Professional Experience

In addition to his trial experience in asbestos litigation, Mr. Wathen has successfully tried to verdict or handled to conclusion a wide variety of personal injury and civil litigation matters, including products liability, medical malpractice, defective medical devices, construction injuries, premises liability, silicosis, and wrongful termination of a business franchise. A licensed private pilot, Mr. Wathen also has served as lead counsel in air crash litigation. His trial victories include a $1.2 million verdict for the Plaintiffs in James Singley, et ux v. Servomation Corp., et al. in Dallas County, Texas.
